لَّا يَسْأَمُ الْإِنسَانُ مِن دُعَاءِ الْخَيْرِ وَإِن مَّسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَيَئُوسٌ قَنُوطٌ

English meaning

Man never tires of asking for good, but if evil touches him he loses all hope and becomes despondent.
