فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ
English meaning
In this way he moved his people to accept and they obeyed him- they were perverse people.
