الزخرف

فَأَهْلَكْنَا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

so We have destroyed mightier people than [the disbelievers of Mecca] and their example has gone down in history.
