الأحقاف

وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ الْقُرَىٰ وَصَرَّفْنَا الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

English meaning

We have also destroyed other communities that once flourished around you- We had given them various signs so that they might return to the right way-
