ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ

English meaning

It is because they hate what God has sent down that He has caused their deeds to go to waste.
