Qaf · ayah 27

۞ قَالَ قَرِينُهُ رَبَّنَا مَا أَطْغَيْتُهُ وَلَٰكِن كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ

English meaning

and his [evil] companion will say, ‘Lord, I did not make him transgress; he had already gone far astray himself.’
